Biography

Rodney has been involved in gaming since birth (1965), and RPGs since1978. He’s written his own RPGs (http://www.claymore.50megs.com) and Game Masters several RPGs, including a long term weekly original AD&D game, and a monthly live/weekly online GURPS Space game. He can run everything from Fudge and Savage Worlds on the “creamy” side, to Hero System and HackMaster on the “crunchy” side, and everything in between. He’s been the President of the Christian Gamers Guild since 2000, and was Chaplain before that. He has three cats and has been married to Luana for 14 years. Rodney has a Masters of Divinity from Western Seminary, a Graduate Certificate in Bible from Multnomah University, a BA in Broadcasting Management from EWU, along with an AAS in CS and AA from Columbia Basin College. He’s licensed by Southern Baptists, but has been working rotating shifts as a Carton Assembly Crew Leader at Owens-Illinois glass bottle plant in Portland since 2004. Outside of being involved in teaching theology at his local church, Lents-Gilbert Church of God, and gaming, he is also involved in the motorcycling community through Trinity Road Riders (http://www.pdxstarlighttour.com/), a CMA/AMA chapter in Portland. Rodney is a “retro-rider” and rides a rare 1983 Suzuki GR 650 x Tempter (they only made them for the states for one year). He also enjoys shooting guns, listening to conservative talk radio, watching FOX News, and several TV shows. He’s more of a media guy than a reader, and his games reflect that, though he does enjoy the long story as much as the episodic one. And he’s reading more now that he’s got the Kindle app for his phone.

Explore the Lands of the Iron Lords in this four hour game using the Pathfinder RPG rules. Each game is a unique experience decided by the players, exploring this ancient and deadly land. Players bring their own 7th level characters to the event, built using the Pathfinder Society character creation rules (including up to 23,500 gp in items).
