This is the story of a make-believe world, an upside-down world, in which most people have to work all their lives, sometimes at tasks they would rather not do, only to see the fruits of their labor taken away to gratify the whims and desires for ever more things of a few bosses who control almost everything.

Not only do people see this gigantic affluent waste, but they see the world around them - the people of far-off lands, their own communities and the kingdom of nature itself - being destroyed by these greedy few.

But the people of this world have had enough, and are about to bring about a great change because they care about all people, their communities, all of life and earth itself.

Working Class Heroes is a representation of a struggle for power of working people against “bosses” (in the sense of exploiters rather than leaders). Both are represented by game pieces. The action takes place in specific Arenas of civilization, each with a different human function.
