In Adrenaline, you run around, grabbing weapons and ammo, trying to shoot your fellow players. This is very much a Euro-style game, despite the theme.
More powerful weapons require more ammo, so you have to balance using those, and grabbing more ammo cubes, or simply getting a weapon that's much more low-maintenance.
When you fire a weapon at someone (or several people), you distribute your damage onto their board. When a player's life track fills up, they are scored. Whoever shot them first gets 1 VP for first blood. Whoever gets the kill-shot gets their token on the kill-shot track (another area-control). Whoever caused the most damage gets the highest VP. Whoever did the 2nd most, gets a slightly lower amount of VP, etc. The killed player then immediately re-spawns with full health.
A weird part of the game is that you kinda want to get shot... at least a little bit. The reason for this is that your actions that you can take are improved when you've got an adrenaline boost.
After the 8th kill, there is a "Final Frenzy"! (Essentially, it's just a glorified final round.) After that, each player's board is scored, the kill-shot track is scored, and whoever has the most VP's wins!
